Who you are

• You know how to use communication to achieve better business results
• You have a good understanding and experience in managing and executing 360° campaigns and storytelling techniques
• You have extensive knowledge of how to lead communication through definition, planning, execution and follow-up with relevant stakeholders and keep our employees well informed and engaged
• You have a deep understanding in using social media as an effective tool to communicate our messages
• You have in-depth knowledge of change and transformation techniques
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to manage internal and external stakeholders in a high-level business environment

A day in your life with us

• You are responsible for the communication strategy and operational planning
• You are accountable for the development and implementation of the market’s integrated communication agenda and support it with the help of the resource pool through business partnering
• You lead and develop the Communication Operations team
• You build and maintain relationships with key journalists in selected focus areas to proactively and reactively engage with press contacts and social media
• You set local standards and guidelines for market communication in line with global stands
• You actively drive improvement of the communications areas by adapting the effectiveness and efficiency of communications to the rapidly changing communications landscape
• You set clear targets and KPIs to measure the impact of communications and secure the associated budget

About this work area

This job is located in our Service Office/ Head Office of IKEA Germany in Hofheim-Wallau between Wiesbaden and Frankfurt am Main.

Our Communication department steers public relations, internal communication and public affairs at IKEA Germany. We’re responsible for communications with the media, stakeholders, and co-workers on all matters involving our company and products, and we help shape the positive image of IKEA Germany both internally and externally.
